Our client are a top trading firm who are looking for a talented Storage Engineer to join their growing Storage Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automation & System of Record: Automate the creation of data volumes
- Data Management: Implement systems to track and manage access, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
- Efficiency Improvement: Streamline storage usage, reducing the company’s storage footprint
- Innovation & Impact: Drive the transformation their storage solutions from a problem state to a highly efficient system.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in roles at leading technology, financial services, or similar high-performance environments.
- Technical Skills: Proven experience in building generic infrastructure and distributed systems. Proficient in Python programming, with a focus on sustainable, long-term code development.
- Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with both public cloud APIs and on-premises devices.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and take initiative without needing to be pushed.
