With a foundation of high-profile customers and billion-dollar partners, the company is now looking to scale and is hiring its first Senior Sales Manager.


The Role

The Senior Sales Manager will take ownership of a highly qualified, inbound sales pipeline and will work closely with the founding team to engage with executives at payment companies and remittance operators across key emerging markets. This individual will manage the full sales cycle while helping to establish scalable sales processes.

This is a rare opportunity to shape sales strategy and infrastructure from the ground up within a high-traction startup.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Pipeline Management

  • Manage inbound leads generated by a strong content-driven growth engine

  • Create outbound opportunities targeting fintechs in emerging markets

  • Lead discovery calls and product demos with fintech and remittance prospects

  • Manage deals from initial qualification through to closing

  • Own and optimize CRM workflows to ensure full visibility into the pipeline

Revenue Generation & Growth

  • Close new ARR across fintech and remittance segments globally

  • Develop expertise in payment corridors in regions such as Africa, Latin America, and Asia

  • Represent the company at key global fintech events (e.g., Money20/20, Token2049)

  • Contribute to building the sales team as the company scales

Process Excellence & Scaling

  • Develop scalable sales playbooks and repeatable processes

  • Build reporting systems for pipeline and revenue forecasting

  • Improve conversion rates across the established 3-stage sales process

  • Lead sales operations, including follow-up systems and qualification frameworks

  • Collaborate with clients to iterate on pricing models


What You Bring

Experience & Expertise

  • Experience as an SDR or account executive in a tech environment

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience in fintech or cross-border payments

  • Demonstrated success in closing significant ARR deals with short sales cycles

  • Familiarity with selling into emerging markets and understanding of FX, payment rails, and compliance

Sales Excellence

  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota with year-over-year growth

  • Strong capabilities in inbound lead conversion and pipeline management

  • Excellent skills in discovery and demoing technical products

  • Proficiency with CRM tools, engagement platforms, and analytics systems

Mindset & Culture Fit

  • Comfortable in startup environments with the ability to build processes from scratch

  • Strong interest in financial inclusion and emerging markets

  • Effective communication skills across geographies and time zones

  • A problem-solving mindset and interest in using automation or AI to optimize workflows
