Are you a detail-driven QA Automation Engineer with a passion for financial systems and cutting-edge technology? This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth FinTech innovator that's transforming how institutions and corporates interact with global financial markets.

As part of a fast-moving product team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the robustness, performance and reliability of financial technology solutions that support high-volume transactions. You'll work alongside engineers, product managers, and domain experts to help shape the future of real-time financial platforms.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Championing quality across the entire product development lifecycle
  • Creating comprehensive and structured test plans, test cases, and test strategies
  • Designing and maintaining automated test frameworks
  • Expanding and optimising regression test packs to maintain high test coverage
  • Identifying and documenting defects, collaborating with teams to ensure timely resolution
  • Influencing system architecture from a testability perspective
  • Tracking and reporting quality metrics across platforms
  • Keeping up to date with emerging tools, trends and techniques in automation and testing

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience testing systems in financial services, ideally with exposure to Fintech or high-value transaction systems
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies and best practices
  • Experience using Cypress for automation testing
  • Proficient in JavaScript and SQL
  • Confident working with both white-box and black-box testing approaches
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical mindset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Experience using AI tools to support test planning and analysis is a plus

Interview Process:

Transparency and efficiency are key to this process. Here's what to expect:

  1. Initial Application + Questionnaire – Once you've applied, you'll be sent a short questionnaire focused on your approach to QA processes and methodology.

  2. First Stage Interview – An introductory conversation with the Hiring Manager to explore mutual fit and expectations.

  3. Technical Task – You'll be given a home-based task to complete in your own time.

  4. Second Stage Interview – A walkthrough of your completed task with the Hiring Manager.

  5. Final Stage Interview – A company fit discussion with the CTO or Tech Director.

We appreciate that this process includes a few steps, but the client has assured us it will be smooth and fast-moving — as long as candidates are responsive and move at a similar pace with the task and questionnaire stages.

If you’re excited by the idea of joining a nimble, collaborative team working at the heart of financial innovation — we’d love to hear from you.
