SLED Account Executive - East
$250k - $300k OTE
I was recently briefed by an Enterprise Software company ($1.5b revenue) that are looking to continue the build out of their Government organization, with the need to hire a Senior SLED Sales person (Remote) for their East region.
The company has a plethora of platform plays across Digital Transformation needs, and has spent the last few years significantly investing in the product, rebranding and setting themselves up for success. After an advisory with McKinsey, they’ve identified a couple of solutions in Application and Endpoint Security that has hyper growth potential, and there is a concerted effort to engage and uncover new opportunities.
The hiring manager has a track record of running many successful global practices, and having been with the company for 5 years, she is very well connected and has a good network of people internally that you can lean on.
Government is a big vertical for them. They’re in most Civilian agencies, lots of Intel and working their way through the DoD.
Before now, SLED had been managed by Account Managers, with no real strategy for growth. That has changed and there is a pivot towards net new logos (with some existing accounts for you to work on), so this is very much a Greenfield opportunity. We have openings in large territories for East or Central / West, where you would target Named States, selling 6 and 7 figure deals.
Money won’t be a factor for this hire. It’s an important one, so they’re willing to pay the right amount to get the right person in. They’re happy to let the market dictate where that ends up.
