Job description
I am working with a leading Research & Development entity, based in the US to scale their privacy and security team. We are looking for a researcher, who has a proven background in taking conceptual designs through to production and release.
If you have a post-graduate degree and a passion for working on the cutting edge of privacy-enhancing technologies, then this could be a great opportunity for you to do so, in a role that will be highly visible within Global forums, as well as across the group.
Requirements:
- Passion for preserving user privacy and developing privacy-preserving technologies
- Ability to write production-level code in one or more of Python, Java, Javascript, C, C++, or Go
- Strong technical knowledge of core privacy regulations and frameworks, e.g., NIST Privacy Framework, GDPR, PIPEDA, CCPA, CPRA, etc.
- Experience with one or more of the following PETs: Privacy by Design, Differential Privacy, Privacy Preserving Encryption, Homomorphic Encryption, Privacy-Preserving Machine Learning, Secure Multi-Party Computation, Privacy Enhanced Federated Learning, Self-Sovereign Identity, Zero Knowledge Proofs.
- Strong desire to work independently and manage your own workload
Nice to have:
- Exposure to device-level privacy, or experience within an IOT-based industry
- Privacy Certification(s) such as CIPT, CIPP/US, CIPM
- Published work within the privacy and/or Security spaces
