Full Stack Developer | Java, TypeScript, AWS
Hamburg (Hybrid)


Stott and May are partnered with one of the market leaders within e-commerce space. The Product data Hub team is looking for a Full-Stack Developer to work on the company’s eCommerce platform
  • You will drive the future of e-commerce and take advantage of e-commerce spirit and the innovative power of the group.
  • As part of the Product team, you will contribute to the product data supply of the platform and is the link between customer expectations of product data and the and retailers as suppliers of product-describing features. 
  • The aim is to achieve market-oriented product data quality through intelligent systems. In doing so, we are at the beginning of implementing a great plan.
  • Their approach is strongly oriented towards Scrum. The development of their systems follows the principle "You build it, you run it, you own it.", i.e. the conception, the development and also QA are completely done by our team. 
  • You will collaborate on all aspects of their product - from the frontend to the backend and the database.

The tech stack: Java | Spring Boot | Microservices | AWS (DynamoDB, CloudFront, EC2, Etc) | TypeScript | HTML | SCSS | MongoDB | Gradle | Git | REST

Responsibilities 
  • Collaborate in all phases of its lifecycle from conception through implementation and testing to operation in the AWS Cloud. You will also have the opportunity to drive and implement topics independently.
  • You will be involved in the development of the Product Data Hub microservice architecture across the team
  • You work with methods of agile software development, such as SCRUM, Pair Programming, Test-Driven-Development (TDD).
  • In our work we are supported by tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro and Microsoft Teams with Office 365.

Experience 
  • Experienced working with Java or Kotlin with Spring Boot.
  • Comfortable with Frontend topics using JavaScript/TypeScript 
  • Experienced in building RESTful & event-driven microservice architectures.
  • Experience with AWS Services is a plus as well as working with MongoDB
  • You are a team player with good communication skills in both English and German
  • Agile Mindset
