Join a fast growing food and beverage merchant as a skilled Magento Front-End Developer. In this vital role, you will be responsible for implementing cutting-edge performance optimizations and fixing bugs in real-time. Work collaboratively with the dynamic marketing team to integrate innovative new features and ensure the best possible customer experience. As the Magento Front-End Developer, you will closely monitor the e-commerce customer journey and work alongside the support team to exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
As the primary point person for Marketing, your primary responsibility will be all things Magento front-end development. You will estimate effort for UI components and distinguish between out-of-the-box vs. custom solutions. Work closely with IT to build out custom components, API data integrations, or third-party solutions.
You will also build medium to large-scale Magento websites by providing estimates on individual feature tasks and auditing 3rd-party modules for best practices. Implement custom data layer objects through JavaScript for analytics or tag management platforms like Adobe or Google Analytics. Adhere to best practices provided in the static markup from the Creative Technologists for UI performance, accessibility, UX/UI, and SEO optimizations. You will identify and implement appropriate solutions for performance and ensure code quality assurance with an emphasis on best practices.
As a highly organized and efficient individual, you will possess strong time management skills during projects by organizing daily workload based on prioritization of tasks. You will also continue to expand your knowledge and depth of front-end development on the ScandiPWA and Magento 2 platforms.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 or more years of proven experience as a front-end developer with Magento 2 Enterprise, PWA, GraphQL, React.JS/TypeScript, PHP, etc. You should also have at least 3 years of experience working with git code repositories, continuous integration, and deployment (CI/CD), and Magento 2 Enterprise experience developing custom themes and functionality. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of database management and performant database design, competency with writing automated testing for Magento modules, and at least 3 years of experience managing code repositories using Git. You should have strong communication skills (both written and verbal), the ability to work with PageBuilder and create custom PageBuilder components, and knowledge of Docker, CDN, AWS, Cloudflare, Hosting Providers, etc. Other requirements include WordPress experience, knowledge of web analytics and SEO techniques, knowledge of ADA and WCAG 2.x Compliance Standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must-haves:
The ideal candidate will also be a ScandiPWA Certified Developer, a Magento Certified Developer, and have experience scaling web applications and load-testing suites. You should also have ReactJS/TypeScript experience, deep knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript/PHP, WordPress enterprise experience, and experience consuming Web Services.
