Salesforce Technical Business Analyst

Start: ASAP
Duration: 6-12 months
Location: 3 days per week in Milton Keynes

We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Business Analyst to act as the bridge between the Business and Technology teams. The successful candidate will lead on Salesforce discovery, guide requirement solicitation, and ensure that business processes are aligned with Salesforce capabilities. If you have experience in financial services, especially within mortgages, and are passionate about driving declarative Salesforce solutions, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary conduit between Business and Technology teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Lead the discovery phase, focusing on Salesforce-related aspects, and guide the requirements gathering process.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts to understand future business processes and ensure the appropriate coverage of user stories.
- Support business and technical refinement sessions, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Create wireframes using the Salesforce Figma plugin to support discovery and requirement definition.
- Help define appropriate story structure and size for logical Salesforce delivery.
- Ensure that necessary artefacts are present to enable solution design and accurate estimation.
- Advocate for configuration-based solutions over code, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Conduct functional reviews of developed stories to ensure they meet business needs before passing to QA.
- Support client acceptance testing (UAT), identifying required changes and liaising with the development team.
- Act as the single point of contact for QA, triaging and prioritising bugs for review by the Product Owner.
- Deliver demos to the core team and wider stakeholders, highlighting key features and functionality.

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in Salesforce Experience Cloud, especially in the Financial Services industry (mortgages preferred).
- Financial Services Cloud Partner Accreditation is highly desirable.
- Strong experience in designing declarative Salesforce solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to document complex requirements clearly.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders and simplify complex issues.
- Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce tools, including Experience Cloud and Figma plugin.
- Familiarity with functional reviews, UAT, and client acceptance testing processes.
