A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Cyber Incident Response Associate Attorney to join its growing Cybersecurity & Privacy Practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on fast-moving, high-impact matters including data breaches, regulatory compliance, and privacy litigation for Fortune 500 and mid-market clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Respond to cybersecurity and data privacy incidents across a range of industries.

Analyze legal obligations under laws such as CCPA, GDPR, HIPAA, and various state breach notification statutes.

Draft legal notices, regulatory communications, and breach-related documentation.

Defend clients in privacy and data security litigation, including class action lawsuits.

Advise clients on risk mitigation, notification procedures, and compliance strategy.

Collaborate with forensic investigators, technical teams, and senior attorneys throughout the incident response lifecycle.
Qualifications:

JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.

2+ years of legal experience focused on data privacy, cybersecurity, or incident response.

Familiarity with global and U.S. data protection frameworks and notification laws.

Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.

Technical acumen and/or litigation experience is a plus.
