Senior UX/UI Designer
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid)
Duration: 30/06/2026
Rate: 425 GBP Inside IR35
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a skilled Senior UX/UI Designer to support the design and delivery of user-centred digital banking products. This role requires strong experience in UX/UI design, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to contribute across the product lifecycle — from research to high-fidelity prototyping and usability testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct user research to gather insights into user needs and behaviours.
Design intuitive, accessible, and visually coherent interfaces aligned with brand guidelines.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models for new or enhanced digital features.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers.
Support usability testing and apply insights to improve product outcomes.
Stay informed on industry trends and design best practices.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Demonstrable experience as a UX/UI or Product Designer, supported by a relevant portfolio.
Proficiency in user research, interaction design, prototyping, and visual design.
Strong understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design.
Experience conducting usability testing and iterating based on feedback.

Desirable:

Background in regulated industries, ideally financial services.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and design systems.
Awareness of ethical design principles and user privacy considerations.
Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS).

Expectations:
You may be required to lead design initiatives, advise on UX strategy, contribute to cross-functional projects, and support risk and control measures as part of a wider product team.
