The Role

We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial professional to join our founding team as a Founding Legal Engineer. This is a unique opportunity to shape our business development and product roadmap from day one with high ownership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Sales Cycle: Oversee lead sourcing, engagement, and closing.
  • Demonstrate Value: Clearly communicate how our AI tools transform legal workflows to potential and existing clients.
  • Build Relationships: Develop strong, long-term customer connections to drive growth.
  • Experiment with GTM Channels: Test new outreach methods, set KPIs, and optimize performance.
  • Define Product Vision: Work with the founders to build agentic LLM workflows that mimic legal reasoning.
  • Gather Insights: Collect customer feedback to refine and iterate on product features.
  • Validate Product Iterations: Test new features and integrate data-driven improvements.
  • Engage with Customers: Talk directly with legal professionals to understand their workflows.
  • Collaborate Internally: Work closely with product, engineering, and legal teams to troubleshoot issues.

Qualifications

We are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial professional with a “roll up your sleeves” mentality and a passion for transforming the way work is done. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Incredible Executor: Experience in sales, growth, marketing, or background in strategy consulting/banking or other high-impact fields is a plus.
  • Grit & Synthesis: Ability to distill complex ideas into actionable strategies.
  • Relevant Experience: Juris Doctor degree and/or law firm experience are a plus.
  • Data-Driven: Highly numerate and comfortable working in a data-driven environment.
  • Cultural Fit: Non-traditional backgrounds are encouraged.
