Job Title: Tech Business Analyst
Location: Windsor, UK (Hybrid – 1 day at the office)
Start Date: 15th September 2025
Duration: 6 months
Day Rate: £400-450 (Inside IR35)

We are seeking an experienced Tech Business Analyst to join a dynamic team in Windsor. In this role, you’ll become a proficient user of Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage and refine your squad’s backlog, helping to prioritise business and technical requirements to deliver valuable solutions. You will work closely with solution architects, technical teams, and stakeholders to analyse complex business problems, driving forward strategic solutions for our systems and processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Azure DevOps Management: Manage the squad’s backlog by creating, defining, refining, and elaborating features and stories, ensuring they are "developer-ready".

  • Business Analysis: Analyse complex business issues and collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to deliver clear and prioritised requirements.

  • Technical Expertise: Identify gaps in business requirements, providing technical expertise for system specifications and scaling current and new systems, processes, and procedures.

  • Consultation & Design Support: Provide consultation on automated systems and support the design of these systems.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to address business and system issues and ensure efficient delivery of projects.

  • Agile Delivery: Participate in daily ADO updates, epics, features, and stories, and attend standard agile ceremonies.

  • Best Practice Techniques: Utilise best practice business analysis techniques, such as feature decomposition, context diagrams, mock-ups, and MVP (Most Valuable Product) approaches.

  • Requirements Analysis: Balance the need for new requirements with “out of the box” solutions from SaaS providers, ensuring cost-effective and efficient solutions.


Essential Skills & Knowledge:

  • 8+ years of relevant BA experience in managing, advising, generating, and prioritising a platform-level technical backlog of work.

  • Proven track record of 12-15 years in the overall professional experience, demonstrating technical and business analysis expertise.

  • Collaborative Approach: Strong ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders, with varied skills and experience.

  • Technical Change Delivery: Experience supporting and delivering technical change in software development and enterprise-level system implementations.

  • Agile Delivery: Extensive experience in agile environments, driving results in a fast-paced, constantly changing setting.

  • Cloud Native Systems: Solid experience with cloud-native enterprise-level systems, particularly in CRM and Billing.

  • Channel Exposure: Familiarity with AWS core infrastructure and services is preferable.

  • Utilities Domain Knowledge: A solid understanding of the utilities sector is highly desirable.

  • Integration Experience: Experience with Salesforce, MuleSoft, or other similar integration products is advantageous.
