Security Engineer – Microsoft Cloud Security
We’re looking for a skilled Security Engineer with hands-on expertise in Microsoft Defender, Microsoft 365 Security, and Microsoft Entra ID. You’ll support our security transformation programme by implementing best practices to strengthen cloud and enterprise security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Intune, Office 365, and Cloud Apps.
- Support IDAM and Threat Protection initiatives.
- Implement security policies in Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center.
- Manage identity and access controls via Entra ID, including Conditional Access and MFA.
- Configure Microsoft Purview to support DLP efforts.
- Conduct security assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams and MSSP on incident response and system security.
- Stay current with emerging cloud security technologies.
Required Skills:
- 3–5 years’ experience in cybersecurity, preferably in Microsoft environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 security.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting.
- Experience securing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and Intune device management.
- Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK).
Preferred Certifications:
- SC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst
- SC-300: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
- SC-400: Information Protection Administrator
