Senior Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Solution Architect (Freelance)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Solution Architect to lead and contribute to the architecture, design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of enterprise-grade Dynamics 365 and Power Apps-based solutions. The consultant will support the evolution of an SCM tool built on Dynamics 365 CRM modules within a governance-driven environment.

• 75% Remote (EU-based)
• Approximately 5 days per month onsite in Malta

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to solution architecture and technical design of Dynamics 365 CRM-based applications.
  • Design, develop, and enhance Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) and Power Automate solutions.
  • Draft software specifications and system requirements documentation.
  • Define and maintain architecture artifacts aligned with enterprise governance standards.
  • Configure and customize Dynamics 365 including entities, plugins, workflows, business rules, and Web Services.
  • Develop and maintain integrations using Microsoft Graph API and Microsoft Dataverse Web API.
  • Support CRM architectural implementation including data modeling, migration strategies, and integration patterns.
  • Ensure proper implementation of licensing schemas and security models.
  • Manage solution packaging, environment configuration, and deployment across environments.
  • Provide senior consultancy and technical studies related to Dynamics 365 and ICT governance processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Advanced experience with Dynamics 365 core platform and CRM modules.
  • Strong expertise in .NET (C#) and JavaScript development.
  • Advanced Dynamics 365 customizations (entities, processes, flows, business rules, plugins).
  • Strong experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Apps Component Framework (PCF).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Graph API and Microsoft Dataverse Web API.
  • Solid experience with JavaScript, Angular.js, and TypeScript.
  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 licensing schema and security model.
  • Experience in enterprise architecture documentation and governance environments.
  • Advanced English communication skills (C1).
