Workday Senior Project Manager
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of Workday implementations and enhancements. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of Workday HCM and/or Financials. You will be responsible for managing complex projects from initiation through to go-live, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end Workday implementation or enhancement projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication at all levels.
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with internal governance and Workday best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement and post-implementation support strategies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience managing Workday projects, ideally across multiple modules (e.g., HCM, Payroll, Financials).
- Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex enterprise software projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments.
- Workday certification(s) preferred.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management qualification is a plus.
