Vulnerability Analyst

Start: ASAP
Duration: initial 6-months
Location: hybrid in Birmingham or Leeds 2 days PER MONTH
Pay: inside IR35, £530-630 per day
We are looking for a vulnerability analyst who will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and remediating vulnerabilities across networks, systems, and applications. You will work closely with stakeholders, the Security Operations Center (SOC), and other teams to ensure the security and resilience of our infrastructure and systems.
Essential Skills:
- Vulnerability Analysis Expertise: Strong technical knowledge of digital vulnerabilities, including experience within cyber security frameworks and vulnerability management lifecycle.
- SOC/Arch Team Coordination: Experience working with SOC teams and understanding the feedback platform vulnerability process.
- Threat Intelligence Monitoring: Proficient in analyzing and responding to threat feeds and vulnerability databases to identify new attack vectors.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to effectively engage with and manage both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
- Operational Platforms: Solid experience with cloud environments, on-prem infrastructure, and databases.
- Decision-Making & Communication: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make sound, informed decisions. Clear and concise communication with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive & Adaptable: A proactive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
