Job description

Job Title: Technology Architect

Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite)

Day Rate: £650 per day (Inside IR35)

Contract Duration: 3–6 months (Immediate start)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technology Architect to support the existing Technology Architect in aligning cloud and infrastructure capabilities with the enterprise architecture blueprint. This role will operate across technology and business domains, ensuring solution designs meet strategic objectives while supporting change and transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bring together foundational cloud and infrastructure components to ensure alignment with the enterprise architecture blueprint.

  • Design and review solution and system architectures, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and governance frameworks.

  • Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure and resilient capabilities.

  • Act as a domain lead within a delivery squad, providing architectural direction and technical leadership.

  • Support change and transformation programmes through robust solution design and architectural oversight.

  • Participate in architecture governance forums, contributing to design assurance and decision-making processes.

  • Ensure adherence to architectural best practices, patterns and enterprise standards.

  • Contribute to architectural documentation, roadmaps and strategic technology planning.

Required Experience

  • Strong experience operating as a Technology or Solution Architect within complex enterprise environments.

  • Solid understanding of architecture as a discipline, including governance and assurance processes.

  • Proven background in cloud and infrastructure solution design.

  • Experience supporting business transformation and technology change initiatives.

  • Experience in FX (Foreign Exchange) systems and related business processes.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally across technology and business teams.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
