Job Title: Lead Security Architect
Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite)
Day Rate: £725 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: 3–6 months (Immediate start)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Security Architect to support the existing Lead Security Architect in overseeing secure technical design across systems and services. This role will play a key part in ensuring security by design, alignment with Information Security strategies and controls, and compliance with relevant standards across change and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee the technical design of systems and services, ensuring appropriate security considerations are embedded throughout the architecture lifecycle.

Support solution architects in delivering secure, compliant and resilient system designs.

Ensure alignment with Information Security strategies, policies and control frameworks.

Support the maintenance and development of security reference architectures and architectural roadmaps.

Participate in solution governance forums, reviewing and approving solution and system architectures.

Ensure security by design principles are consistently applied across programmes and projects.

Provide subject matter expertise on security technologies to support organisational change and transformation initiatives.

Contribute to architectural standards, guidelines and best practice documentation.
Required Experience

Strong experience operating at Lead or Senior Security Architect level within complex enterprise environments.

Proven experience overseeing secure solution and system design.

Experience working within architecture governance frameworks.

Strong understanding of information security controls, standards and compliance requirements.

Ability to influence and guide solution architects and technical stakeholders.

Experience supporting large-scale change or transformation programmes.
