Job Title: Team Manager for Account Management Team (Renewals Focus)


Location: Hybrid - 2 days in the office (Tuesday & Wednesday)


Salary: £75,000 base with £15,000 - £20,000 bonus, rolled out quarterly

Job Description:


Key Responsibilities:


1.Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 8 Account Managers, ensuring they meet and exceed renewal targets.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting high morale and job satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to monitor performance, provide feedback, and set goals.


2.Performance Management:

  • Drive the team to achieve quarterly and annual renewal targets.
  • Implement performance improvement plans for underperforming team members and provide ongoing support to help them succeed.
  • Utilize emotional intelligence to understand team dynamics and individual challenges, offering tailored coaching and support.


3.Client Retention:

  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize client retention and satisfaction.
  • Work closely with Account Managers to ensure they are effectively communicating the value of our advertising platform to clients.
  • Analyze client feedback and data to identify areas for improvement in service delivery.



4.Process Improvement:

  • Evaluate and enhance existing processes to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Introduce new tools, techniques, and best practices to streamline operations and increase productivity.



5.Reporting and Analysis:

  • Track and report on team performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning.




Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in managing a team of Account Managers or sales professionals in a target-driven environment.
  • Strong background in an advertising publisher, website, or tele-sales environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive team performance and meet or exceed targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and clients.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to manage and support underperforming team members effectively.
  • Experience in process improvement and implementing best practices to enhance team operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and make informed decisions.




  • Competitive base salary of £60,000 with a quarterly bonus potential of £15,000 - £20,000.
