Software Developer in Test – Financial Markets
We are looking for a Software Developer in Test in one of the most high-impact financial technology companies in New York. You’ll be working on multiple execution portfolios for trading, with a team of talented software engineers and testers, applying innovative techniques to develop your career in the world of financial markets.
Responsibilities:
You will be working within an agile engineering team focused on executing problems, finding solutions to define the story and test requirements. Day to day you will pair with other testers and developers to combine domain knowledge and produce test coverage to enable complete stories with minimal technical debt to optimize performance and efficiency.
The main areas to test will be core functionality, big data issues and performance.
The team follow TDD and BDD methodologies across the whole business where you will rotate testing around different teams to ensure everyone gains first-hand knowledge on all areas of the codebase and testing. The main areas of coverage: low-latency trading systems, cryptocurrency integrations and platform security.

- Dedicated to quality and profound knowledge of the readable and maintainable code, desired Java using Junit, Selenium and Jenkins
