Software Solution Architect
Overview
We are seeking a Software Solution Architect to drive the design and delivery of modern, enterprise-grade applications. This position focuses on transforming legacy platforms, enabling integration with mainframe environments, and building secure, scalable systems that support large-scale business operations. The role requires deep expertise in Java, SQL, and modern integration tools, combined with the ability to guide technical teams and align solutions with organizational strategy.
What You’ll Do

Define and own end-to-end application architectures that enable system modernization and digital transformation.

Lead integration initiatives between cloud-ready applications and mainframe environments, ensuring performance and reliability.

Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into clear technical blueprints.

Assess and recommend technologies, design patterns, and frameworks aligned with enterprise standards.

Guarantee scalability, maintainability, and security by embedding best practices and compliance into solution design.

Provide direction, coaching, and support to engineering teams throughout delivery cycles.

Conduct architecture reviews, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and validate code quality.

Stay ahead of technology trends, particularly in cloud adoption, microservices, event-driven systems, and DevOps.
What We’re Looking For

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect or senior-level software engineer in complex enterprise landscapes.

Strong knowledge of:

Java frameworks (Spring Boot, Jakarta EE)

SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or equivalent)

Integration approaches (REST, SOAP, messaging systems, Kafka, JMS, etc.)

Mainframe systems (e.g., IBM z/OS, COBOL, DB2) and strategies to modernize them
Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of Agile delivery models, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business priorities.
Nice to Have

Experience with API gateways, event-driven design, and streaming technologies.

Familiarity with system refactoring, migration, or re-platforming initiatives.

Certifications in cloud or enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF, AWS/Azure certifications) are an advantage.
