Senior ERP Finance Consultant (Remote)
A dynamic and well-established software company is seeking a Senior ERP Finance Consultant to support the implementation of its cutting-edge, cloud-native ERP platform across a growing customer base.
With decades of innovation behind them, this client is widely recognised in their sector for developing robust, highly configurable ERP solutions tailored to complex industries. The company has a loyal and expanding customer base of over 2,000 businesses, and is investing heavily in digital transformation across finance, operations, and reporting.

About the Role
You will act as a subject matter expert on financial modules within the ERP, leading workshops, configuring software, and supporting end-users from implementation through to post go-live support. You’ll work closely with internal teams including development, support, and project management to ensure seamless delivery for customers across diverse industries.
The role is remote-first within Ireland (both ROI and NI), but will involve occasional travel to customer sites for discovery sessions, training, or go-lives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead financial process discovery workshops and blueprint design sessions with clients.

Configure and deploy ERP finance modules, covering GL, AP, AR, chart of accounts, reporting, and tax compliance.

Act as the finance SME across the full implementation lifecycle—from scoping through to post go-live.

Collaborate with development teams to customise or extend platform functionality based on client needs.

Deliver user training and prepare documentation to support adoption and operational continuity.

Support data migration efforts, ensuring integrity of historical financial data during transition.

Provide post-implementation support, guiding customers through any issues and further system optimisations.

Contribute to project plans, task estimates, and risk assessments.
What You’ll Bring

5+ years in ERP finance consulting, implementation, or systems analysis.

Strong knowledge of core financial processes and accounting principles.

Previous hands-on ERP configuration experience.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – able to work with stakeholders from finance teams to C-suite.

Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Comfortable working remotely, but willing to travel to client sites on an irregular basis
