Server Engineer - 3rd Line
Contract Type: Perm
Location: Dorking / Basingstoke
Salary - £40000-£42000
My Client is urgently looking for an experienced Server Engineer (3rd Line)!!
You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of one or several of cloud/windows/Linux/networking infrastructure technologies. You'll have overall technical responsibility for the implementation, modification, enhancement, and ongoing support of operating system, as well as the software tools required to manage the relevant infrastructure.
Skill requirements:
Possesses highly developed technical expertise in multiple key operating/networking system or subsystem areas
Able to leverage scripting and other tools to automate routine tasks
Able to drive resolution of highly complex technical problems
Able to effectively summarise and clearly communicate software/hardware problems involving multiple support team(s)
Demonstrable related work experience (Wintel, VMWare)
Windows OS Configuring & Trouble shooting 2016+
VMware Virtualisation 6.5+
AD / DNS / GPO configuration
ITIL Framework grounding (Incident, Change, etc)
Azure/Cloud exposure
