Job description
We are hiring a Salesforce QA for a role with one of our clients in the Consulting industry -
This is a remote contract, 40 hours/week - working on EST. Candidates can be based either onshore or nearshore
Hourly rate will depend on location and experience level
Responsibilities:
- Validate the configurations and customizations performed on the Salesforce Platform against the business requirements.
- Document test plans and test scripts and perform functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing
- Provide test summary reporting and work collaboratively with the customer and project team to support user acceptance testing and the release to production
- Responsible for design and implementation of test plans and test cases
- Creates detailed, well-organized, and comprehensive test case libraries from Business Requirements
- Reports, analyzes, and tracks defects within JIRA (or similar story/task/issue tracking system)
- Writes and executes automated and manual tests. (e.g. Selenium, Katalon)
- Work closely with the software developers and business analysts to resolve issues
- Establishes and documents continued process improvements and test requirements
- Actively participates in team standups, planning, and other meetings
- Tests web applications and mobile devices
- Tests integrations, end-to-end system processes
- Supports or conducts product demonstrations with Client
- Supports SIT and/or UAT process providing release notes and handling issue specific responses to Clients
- Flexibility to meet continuously changing priorities and challenges
- Salesforce experience and Salesforce certifications, required
- Minimum 3 plus years experience in Salesforce Testing and QA
- Has a working knowledge of Agile/Scrum development and industry best practices
- Is familiar with the software development life cycle and deployment through Continuous Integration
- Thorough understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices
