Job description

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join one of our clients expanding Sales Engineering team. Your dynamic role will be pivotal in delivering pre-sales support for their innovative Cyber Security platform, ensuring our offerings align seamlessly with client needs.

Role Overview

As a Sales Engineer, you will work with the sales team as a key technical advisor and advocate for solutions while continuously improving the conversion rate from qualified opportunities to successful wins. In this role, you will be a technical product expert, working closely with our Sales Director, Product Management, and Engineering teams to bring new products to market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery sessions into customers' current processes to identify pain points and help determine how our platform can remove those issues.

  • Design and deliver detailed presentations and documentation to potential clients, showcasing the value and functionality of the platform.

  • Work closely with clients to understand technical requirements and ensure seamless integration into their existing systems.

  • Act as a bridge between the technical and sales teams, facilitating effective communication and understanding of client needs.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously enhance product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends.

  • Assist in the development of sales strategies by providing technical insights and identifying opportunities for product improvement.

  • Engage in proactive problem-solving to address client concerns and ensure a positive pre-sales experience.
  • Contribute to creating sales collateral, including technical documentation, case studies, and product guides.

  • 10+ Years of experience in sales engineering roles, ideally within Cyber Security Software.

  • Demonstrated success in sales engineering within a dynamic business environment, with a track record of achieving and exceeding strategic goals.

  • Proven ability to craft and execute effective sales strategies, aligning pre-sales initiatives with overall organizational goals.

  • Experience adapting to evolving industry trends and technologies, bringing innovative solutions to the sales engineering landscape.

  • Strong collaboration/communication skills to effectively work with both technical and sales teams.

  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand and address client requirements, ensuring a positive pre-sales experience.
