ob Title: SAP BIB Expert – SuccessFactors to S/4HANA Integration
Location: Brussels (2–3 days/week onsite)
Start Date: End of September 2025
Contract Type: Freelance/Contract
Language Requirements: Dutch & English (minimum C2 level)
Clearance: EU nationality required

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BIB Expert to support the integration of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) with SAP S/4HANA HCM. This role is crucial in aligning cloud-based HR data with on-premise SAP systems, ensuring accurate and efficient data replication across platforms.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP Business Integration Builder (BIB), deep understanding of SAP CPI, and proven success in hybrid SuccessFactors + S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and implement SAP BIB for integration between EC and S/4HANA HCM

  • Build and manage replication models, field mappings, filters, and transformation logic

  • Configure and support SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) for EC–S/4HANA data flows

  • Ensure seamless replication of key data: employee master data, organizational structure, positions, and enterprise elements (e.g. cost centers, company codes)

  • Monitor and troubleshoot replication processes using IDocs, OData services, and integration logs

  • Validate data consistency and resolve mapping issues between EC and S/4HANA

  • Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure business requirements are met

  • Support testing (UAT), go-live, and post-go-live activities

  • Document integration processes, mappings, and technical configurations

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven, hands-on experience with SAP Business Integration Builder (BIB)

  • Strong knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors EC data models and HRIS elements

  • Experience working with SAP S/4HANA HCM or ERP HCM

  • Proficiency in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)

  • Solid understanding of IDocs, OData services, and XML debugging

  • Experience with HR Minimaster, BP (Business Partner) creation, and replication

  • Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English (minimum C2 level)

  • Citizenship: EU nationality is required due to project clearance

  • Ability to work 2–3 days per week onsite in Brussels

Nice to Have:

  • SAP Certifications in SuccessFactors and/or Integration Suite

  • Experience working in public sector or regulated environments

  • Familiarity with GDPR and data privacy in HR integrations
