Job description
We are hiring a Salesforce FSC Developer (Nearshore) for one of our consulting clients - working on a project with an US based Insurance company
This is a remote nearshore role and can be based in any nearshore location (Brazil, Mexico, Uruguay, Argentina etc.)
The contract is to start ASAP initially for 2-3 months, but very likely to extend for 9 months in total
This role is a 40 hour/week position working on EST and will be paid an hourly rate of $18-22/h. Professiona/Advanced English fluency is required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to validate functional and technical requirements
- Perform hands-on with application design, configuration, testing and deployment through agile-based project work
- Perform configuration and customization of the Salesforce.com platform
- Test-driven design, unit testing maximizing quality control assurance
- Client facing activities and engagement (solution definition, estimations, and POCs)
- Authoring artifacts related to requirements specifications and client-facing design deliverables
- Best practices approach to performing bug resolution, enhancements, and operational support as needed
- Continuous learning for application design, best practices, and standards based approaches
- End user engagement activities related to troubleshooting for bug fixes and enhancements
- Communicates development progress to stakeholders at frequent intervals
- Proactive communication with both client and customer team members as needed during the design and implementation
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience developing on Salesforce platforms and experience with Financial Services Cloud (FSC)
- Minimal certification of Salesforce Platform Developer 1
- Understanding and experience with Force.com Apex & Lightning Web Components
- Experience in core web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript
- Direct experience consulting on CRM projects for small market and mid size companies.
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with web services (REST and/or SOAP, JSON & XML).
