Job description

 We are looking for a Regional Sales Director to join our clients sales team and help fuel the next phase of their exceptional growth journey. This role is crucial to their expansion, with the primary goal of driving new customer acquisitions in Cyber Security by building and implementing key sales growth strategies to drive revenue.

Role Overview

As Regional Sales Director, you will identify, nurture, and close new sales opportunities and manage all sales activity across the US, developing strategies that align with local market dynamics. Working closely with sales leadership, you will manage and ensure the successful execution of strategic and complex sales cycles, identifying growth opportunities and supporting our client in driving customer engagement through strategies tailored to local preferences and demands. 

 

Key Responsibilities

 
  • Drive, manage, and execute the business and revenue strategies for the sales team within NAM.

  • Analyze regional market dynamics to maximize existing successes and identify new opportunities for sales growth.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and drive targeted sales strategies tailored to regional opportunities. 

  • Collaborate with functional stakeholders across marketing, product, legal, and other teams to manage the sales process.

  • Lead and educate the sales team on crucial industry factors, including competitive products, regulations, trends, customer needs, and pricing.

  • Develop and implement forecasts, territory/industry management plans, and strategies for sustainable growth.

  • Define and report on key metrics to measure team performance and sales objectives.

  • Ensure the regional sales plan is aligned with corporate revenue goals and overall business objectives.

  • Establish collaborative relationships across the local market business and leverage successful practices used by local market teams/regions.

  • Manage and mentor the sales team to cultivate a successful and positive environment.

  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture, encouraging continuous improvement and professional development.

 

Requirements

  • 10+ Years experience in a process, data-driven sales background.

  • A deep understanding of cyber solutions and the buying process, with experience building new market categories and selling new solutions to our ICPs.

  • Experience building sales growth strategies in the US, ideally within cyber security. 

  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding performance objectives.

  • Experience running the entire sales process from prospecting to dealing closed, leveraging best practices to improve processes.

  • Experience in relationship management navigating complex sales processes that require a consultative approach.

  • Ability to accurately read people, situations, and interpersonal dynamics and navigate appropriately.
