Job Title: Communication Project Manager – EU Institution (Remote)
Location: Remote within EU
Type: Freelance/Contract
Duration: 6–12 months (initial)
Rate: €430/day
Citizenship Requirement: EU Nationals only
Overview:
We are supporting a large public-sector institution in hiring a Communication Project Manager to drive internal communications and digital workplace engagement initiatives. The successful candidate will work across multiple departments, helping to shape communication strategies, manage intranet platforms, and ensure consistent messaging during organisational transformation.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver internal communication strategies aligned with programme goals

Manage and update intranet content (SharePoint) to support employee engagement

Lead stakeholder engagement activities and cross-functional communication plans

Coordinate virtual collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams, Yammer, SharePoint)

Design and implement communication campaigns for internal projects and change initiatives

Provide content support, write communications, and manage approval workflows

Collaborate with HR, IT, and senior leadership to ensure communications effectiveness
Required Skills & Experience:

Proven track record in internal communications, digital workplace, or stakeholder engagement

Hands-on experience managing SharePoint or similar intranet platforms

Familiarity with Office 365 collaboration tools (Teams, Yammer, Outlook)

Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills

Experience working in or with public sector, EU institutions, or large organisations

Ability to lead communication in multicultural and remote environments

Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
