PMO - Portfolio Investment Specialist

My client is looking for a talented and experienced PMO – Portfolio Investment Specialist to join our Portfolio Investment Management team who plays a pivotal role in optimizing our investments to maximize business benefits and outcomes.

As a PMO - Portfolio Investment Specialist, you will be an integral part of our Portfolio Management team, responsible for enabling portfolio delivery and decisions to manage exceptions, and ensuring portfolio health. Your role will involve analyzing outcomes from the portfolio and scenarios to optimize delivery and business benefits.

Top Accountabilities:
• Oversee overall Portfolio and Value Stream health activities, including reporting, data quality, analysis, and insight.
• Provide analysis to enable the selection of the optimal investment plan for the Portfolio.
• Produce accurate scenario output and analysis for Value Stream Board review.
• Facilitate the benefits management process, ensuring benefits baselines per initiative are recorded and maintained.
• Act as a central point of reference for Value Stream and Portfolio Health within the PMO.
• Conduct Portfolio investment scenario modeling, analyzing the effects of Portfolio choices.
• Promote a culture of analytical thinking, data-driven decision-making, and systems thinking.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiencies in Portfolio analysis, benefits management, and reporting.
• Collaborate across the sPMO to ensure alignment in delivery, reporting, analytics, investment modeling, and controls.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
• A strong track record of delivery in Portfolio Management (5 years+) within large matrixed organizations.
• Experience with both traditional Waterfall and Agile methodologies, ideally in D&T in an FMCG business.
• Demonstrated impact and influencing skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment.
• Experience and knowledge related to project and portfolio planning and scenario modeling.
• Proficiency in using Planview or similar PPM tools.
• Highly skilled in using Power BI.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience in the drinks industry highly desirable.
