SAP HCM Payroll Consultant (UK & Ireland)
Remote (Minimal Travel Required)

Overview

We are looking for a SAP HCM Payroll Consultant to join the talented UK Managed Services team, which includes experienced SAP SuccessFactors and Payroll consultants. In this role, you will support a wide range of customers and deliver high-quality SAP HCM payroll services across managed services portfolio.

You’ll handle diverse tasks including ad hoc configuration changes, annual payroll patching support, process improvement recommendations, and participation in mini-projects. You’ll work closely with customers, helping them implement best practice solutions, while also collaborating with a high-performing team of experts.

This is a remote-based position with minimal travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert SAP HCM Payroll services for UK and Ireland customers

  • Handle configuration, enhancement, and support activities within SAP Payroll

  • Support annual payroll patching processes

  • Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices

  • Participate in small-scale projects and change requests

  • Provide day-to-day functional and technical support in a managed services environment

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience (8+ years) in SAP Payroll including configuration, schema modifications, and testing

  • In-depth knowledge of UK and Irish payroll legislation and processes

  • Experience working with SAP HCM modules such as Personnel Administration and Time Management (positive and negative)

  • Background in SAP support and change request handling

  • Proven ability to analyse and recommend process improvements with confidence

Desirable Skills

  • Understanding of SAP SuccessFactors and integration between Employee Central (EC) and SAP ERP

  • SuccessFactors certification in at least one module

  • Basic ABAP development or debugging skills
