Our client is a mission-driven series B scale-up that is pioneering a whole new SaaS category - FactoryOps. They are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who is always striving for more: more ways to better themselves, the company, and those around them.
What you’ll do
As a Senior DevOps Engineer for our client, you will be primarily responsible for:
Designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Developing, optimizing, and managing CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and ensure high application availability.
Implementing and managing container orchestration using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm to support scalable microservices architectures.
Enhancing system observability and performance monitoring using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
Automating operational tasks, system monitoring, and cloud resource management with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
Implementing and enforcing security best practices across cloud infrastructure, including secrets management, policy as code, and cloud security tools.
Supporting and improving GitOps methodologies and modern deployment strategies such as blue-green, canary, and feature flag releases.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps best practices into software development and IT operations.
Tech Stack
The client’s stack includes the following technologies: Typescript, Node, Vue, PostgreSQL, Redis, Google Cloud.
Who we want
The ideal Senior DevOps Engineer will have a proven track record of success across the following areas:
7+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering role with a strong focus on orchestration, automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
Deep understanding of cloud platforms (GCP preferred, but AWS or Azure also accepted), including Kubernetes and container orchestration with Docker and Helm.
Proven experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (preferred), CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
Strong focus on monitoring, observability, and performance optimization using Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver, or Datadog.
Demonstrated knowledge of security best practices for DevOps, including secrets management, policy as code, and cloud security tooling.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages.
Experience with GitOps methodologies and modern deployment strategies like blue-green, canary, and feature flags.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud-based systems.
Strong ability to develop API integrations with external systems.
Effective communication and collaboration skills in a remote, fast-paced team environment.

Additional benefits include:
Fair & equitable pay: Annual on-target earnings for this role are in the range of $170,000–$185,000 USD for domestic hires. For candidates outside the US, compensation will reflect local market conditions. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and role alignment.
