Job description

My client are a European market leader for smart products and services to manage your energy consumption and control your climate at home.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Leading the Strategic Marketing Planning process resulting in Source of Business selection, Target Audience identification and Go to Market plan
  • Deriving, aligning and owning the Marketing Calendar
  • Providing focus to the marketing strategy through solid and data driven market analysis and being responsible for developing new distinctive propositions across different European countries that match the purpose, vision and strategy of the company
  • Analyzing potential market and product gaps across the company's new and existing portfolio
  • Identifying opportunities through interviews, data analyses, competitive analyses and market scans, which you then translate into concrete actions or initiatives
  • Using methodologies such as Service Design and Value Proposition Canvas
  • Starting up pilots with a continuous cycle of learning and improving
  • Initiating innovative proposals and decisively involve others in your plans
  • Evangelizing value proposition thinking throughout the organization

 

 

 

Requirements

 

 

  • Masters degree in Business or Marketing
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Expert knowledge of value proposition development concepts
  • Expert knowledge of Marketing Strategy Flow (Market Insight, Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning)
  • Ability to articulate and present key actionable market and competitor insights to the management team
  • Motivated to introduce and lead proposition thinking
  • Sufficient creativity to create customer-oriented and attractive propositions and the analytical skills to always keep an eye on and test the business case behind those propositions
  • Value driven and experimental mindset
  • Experience in a recurring revenue business is a plus (e.g. insurance, telecom or energy)
