A Head of Data Governance opportunity has become available at one of the UK’s largest gaming and gambling companies, the organization employees nearly 10,000 people and has recently made a digital acquisitions to add to it’s existing digital business. Now the company is looking for someone to join the team and play a vital role in shaping Data strategy moving forward.
The successful candidate will need to gain business buy in with the aim of developing best in class data management and ensure there is a corporate focus on data quality by implementing standards, polices and principles.
Key Skills and experience required
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to build relationships and networks across a large number of stakeholders.
- Previous experience in leading a data governance function, or playing a significant role in embedding data governance across a large organization.
- Knowledge of DAMA or similar approaches to data governance.
- Previous experience leading data governance functions, or playing a significant role in embedding data governance across a large organization.
