Director of Business Development | Remote

 

We have exclusively partnered with a platform that is protecting the worlds most well-known brands from internal and external cyber attacks. Their market leading risk management platform is helping to protect the data and intellectual property of global businesses. They have been awarded leaders in their space by the most prestigious analyst firms and have won multiple awards for best place to work.

 

They are looking for a Director of Business Development to support and expand their growing team. The role entails hiring, onboarding, consistent upskilling and ensuring your team of BDR's hit quota and KPI's. You will be working closely and well aligned with sales and marketing as well reporting directly to the VP of sales.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop best practice operating strategies and provide direction for the business development team, help to hire, onboard, train and manage BDRs
  • Motivate BDRs to meet and exceed goals through coaching and ongoing training
  • Enhance processes to achieve lead generation goals, report on metrics, and obtain KPIs

 

Other Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as an Inside Sales manager/director
  • Deep understanding of the sales prospecting process
  • Experience with Salesforce.com (or equivalent CRM platform)
  • Experience with SalesLoft (or equivalent cadence / sequence platform)
  • Strong writing skills / ability to craft appropriate sales prospecting communications
  • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude
  • BS degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Experience within GRC, Risk Management or Cybersecurity platforms preferable
