I am currently recruiting for an end-user company looking for an Application Analyst.
In this role you can expect:

Provide support and management services for designated business systems, ensuring their optimal performance and accessibility.

Facilitate the smooth transition of new applications or changes to existing ones, whether part of a project or a minor upgrade, by conducting thorough testing, managing releases, and establishing maintenance and 3rd party contract processes.

Ensure prompt resolution of assigned support requests, adhering to agreed service levels. Manage third-party suppliers to resolve incidents and forward internal issues to 3rd line support when needed.

Perform necessary system administration and configuration tasks, delivering standard service requests within agreed timelines.

Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders and contacts, enhancing service delivery and promoting the organization while maintaining transparent, effective communication with internal and external partners.

Support with out-of-hours incidents in agreed rotational schedules.

Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and organisational policies and procedures
Experience we are looking for:

Experience of managing and supporting large Business Systems

Providing software and systems support to end users
-
Requirements gathering, analysis and testing of systems
-
Experience of system configuration and administration
-
Demonstrable experience of providing high quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Ideally experience of Unit 4 ERP is highly beneficial

Good technical knowledge of database systems and application environments

Knowledge of data migration and integration between systems

Knowledge of best practice change and release management processes

Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to a non-technical audience
