Job description

As an Affiliate Account Manager, you excel in orchestrating the delicate balance between maximizing client contentment and enhancing team achievement. Your methods are deeply rooted in strategy and analysis, drawing from a rich background in both affiliate and/or influencer marketing, encompassing experience within agencies and brands alike. You're an initiative-taker, adept at maneuvering through uncertainties with confidence, always on the forefront of proposing evidence-based business strategies to your clients and colleagues alike. Your drive for continuous advancement and embracing challenges is relentless, and you possess a natural talent for inspiring similar ambitions within your team.

Your responsibilities will span but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing, negotiating with, and fostering growth among affiliate partners across a varied client base.
  • Generating weekly and monthly reports to assess performance, affiliate engagement, and optimization opportunities, sharing insights with clients.
  • Devising tactics to boost performance via innovative commission structures, detailed attribution models, and thorough cross-channel analyses.
  • Streamlining workflow and processes for peak efficiency, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Tackling daily operational needs within the affiliate network.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in Affiliate Marketing.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven ability to translate client objectives into actionable plans, prioritizing, executing, and tracking progress.
  • A genuine eagerness to work with well-established brands.
  • Capable of effective collaboration both in a team setting and independently.
  • Familiarity with affiliate networks such as Impact, Pepperjam, or ShareASale, and proficiency in reporting tools like Affluent.
  • Experience across various industry verticals including subscription services, retail, B2B, CPG, apps, etc.
  • Exceptionally strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in G-suite & Excel.
  • A proactive and inquisitive mindset.
  • Skilled in adopting, documenting, and teaching the best practices of new partners and team members.
  • Experience in mentoring junior team members and constructing small, rapidly expanding teams (developing new workflows, processes, and goals).
  • Solid understanding of attribution models & lifetime value analysis.
