Our team has partnered with a rapidly growing security & compliance automation start-up on the continued build-out of their sales team. After an incredibly successful first 2 years on the market, they have built a product that allows early-stage fintech & consumer tech start-ups to obtain compliance with a range of frameworks, at a fraction of the cost and time that traditional consulting firms can provide.
The company you will be working with is on a mission to help organizations build trust and stay secure. Your role as their Account Executive will include:
- Helping build the foundation for key sales in a quickly growing startup
- Hunting for new business in new verticals and markets
- Owning the full sales cycle—from prospect to pilots, to negotiations and deal delivery
- Guiding and contributing to team projects to develop and refine the sales process
- Helping management develop and accomplish new verticals and use cases
Our client is looking for an adept salesperson with direct experience in the Compliance industry who can engage in technical and business conversations at multiple levels of the organization, including C & VP-level executives.
Who you are:
- 4+ experience in sales, preferably at an enterprise software company
- 2+ years closing annual contracts of at least $20k/year
- Successful experience in selling a complex software service to engineering organizations
- Ability to understand their product and build great relationships with highly technical customers
- Ability to identify high-probability customers and high-value verticals to go after
- Prior experience at a fast-paced startup and ability to work well in unstructured environments
- Proven negotiation and closing skills
