Job description
Summary and Objective:
Supports underwriting and related compliance functions of the Professional Liability and Cyber Practice. Completes administrative work related to underwriting and policy and endorsement processing. Aids the carrier and producer relationships with prompt and effective communications.

Supports underwriting and related compliance functions of the Professional Liability and Cyber Practice. Completes administrative work related to underwriting and policy and endorsement processing. Aids the carrier and producer relationships with prompt and effective communications.
Essential Functions:
- File setup and maintenance – Complete, and accurately labeled for audit purposes
- Processes, maintains, and prepares new and renewal quotes
- Prioritize rush submissions or renewals. Handle documents, pull loss runs, and notify underwriter within two hours.
- Review and process bind orders. Determine if able to bind as requested by evaluating information received with bind order. Advise broker of any additional information needed.
- Review and accept or decline subjectivities. Send certified cancellation notices if needed.
- Policy issuance – Manage account documentation and ensures file completeness and quality.
- Evaluate endorsement requests for completion, and process. Notify broker of calculated AP. Decide on accurate and clear wording for endorsement body.
- Account auditing – Upon analysis of information received from broker, UA will conclude if the policy needs to be endorsed/ if additional premiums will apply. Notify broker and process with final calculation and premium.
- Other duties as required by supervisor or as specific to the business unit
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to collaborate as a team and respond promptly to changing business needs
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven customer service experience and the ability to interact via phone and email with a wide variety of people.
- Ability and willingness to learn new computer software
