Technical Specialist (Parcel Lockers, Kiosks, ATMs) Start: ASAP Duration: 6-12 months Location: London, Hybrid 2-3 days on site Pay: negotiable, inside IR35 We’re looking for a Technical Specialist to support and maintain automated systems such as parcel lockers, kiosks, and ATMs. This contract role involves advanced troubleshooting, system optimisation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth, reliable performance. Key Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues (remotely and on-site). - Monitor and maintain system health, configurations, and performance. - Support deployments and configure user/network settings. - Analyse system data to identify issues and improve efficiency. - Work with engineering, operations, and third-party vendors on issue resolution. - Maintain accurate documentation and system logs. - Contribute to user guides and technical manuals. - Ensure security compliance and respond to alerts. Your Profile: Required: - 3–5 years' technical support experience with automated or integrated systems. - Strong skills in hardware repair, system diagnostics, and networking (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP). - Familiarity with Linux, Windows or Android OS and SQL/database use. - Analytical mindset with clear communication and documentation skills. Desirable: - Background in customer service or high-availability systems. |
