Job description

Technical Product Specialist – Re-platforming/ Data

A Technical Product Specialist is required by a leading global organisation in Reading (hybrid-based), who have been on an acquisition journey over the last few years.

This Product Specialist will be experienced in re-platforming platforms either through mergers or acquisition or has done a big transformation programme, and understands the product side (i.e. how to create these new user stories? How to make sure the user experience improves when you collapse these two things into one platform).

This Product Specialist will be very comfortable with understanding back-end design and understand how to create a single data dictionary and present data in a usable way. Currently this organisation has experts who specialise in each of their siloed products, but this Product Specialist will be responsible for the over-arching application that will present data from all their underlying applications.

Along with strong demonstratable experience in re platforming (either from a merger, acquisition, or transformation programme setting) and understanding of back-end design, this Product Specialist will also have the following:

- Experience working in a small/midsized company where you have been responsible for the full end-to-end ownership.
- You will be resilient to challenges and be able to give examples of challenges you have faced in the past, what you did, what your achievements were and the outcome
- Ability to write SQL (Desirable)
- A proactive individual who is prepared to roll up your sleeves in a smaller but growing environment.

Please note this role does offer flexible working from home, but travel onsite in Reading will be expected, when required.

Please send your CV now for consideration. Interview to be held as early as the first week of April.
