Technical Lead

I am looking for an Technical Lead to join their team on a permanent basis.
As a hands-on Technical Lead within the Wireless Products team, you will lead the development of cutting-edge wireless products and in support of key customer missions. You will use your experience to take responsibility for the technical/engineering aspects of the project, the solution design and the implementation. Each project will be different, but as part of your role, you may need to oversee and mentor one or more junior engineers. This is a hands-on role so you will undertake a lot of the development tasks yourself.
Main responsibilities will include:
• Working with operational customers to understand use cases and define requirements.
• Lead development of solutions comprising some or all of the following elements: C/C++ software, FPGAs, Linux, Digital Signal Processing (eg for Wireless comms), Web UIs.
• Use the company standard software tools and processes to deliver the work (eg Bitbucket, Confluence, Jira, Jenkins, Docker).
• Happy working with hardware (ie PCBs) when debugging system issues (role does not require the development of electronics).
• Develop some or all of the technical components.
• May need to task and oversee the work of junior developers.
