T24 Technical Business Analyst 

*Outside IR35*

Start: ASAP
Duration: initial 6-months 
Location: 3-days per week in Central London 
Rate: up to £500 /day 

We are currently seeking an experienced T24 Technical Business Analyst to join a dynamic core banking technology team. In this role, you’ll be a key link between the business and technical teams, using your in-depth knowledge of the Temenos Transact (T24) platform to help shape and implement strategic technology solutions.

You’ll be responsible for analysing complex T24 customisations, interpreting InfoBasic code, and ensuring proposed solutions are robust, supportable, and aligned with long-term business objectives. This role does not involve direct software design, but your input will be vital in guiding future enhancements and maintaining a scalable architecture.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyse existing InfoBasic and TAFJ code to assess feasibility of business requirements
- Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Work with BAs and stakeholders to clarify requirements and propose viable solutions
- Estimate development effort and support planning activities
- Provide insight into T24 customisations and potential enhancements
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria using Gherkin syntax
- Participate in triaging production defects and conducting root cause analysis
- Collaborate closely with developers, engineers, project managers, and quality assurance teams

Essential Skills and Experience
- Deep understanding of the Temenos Transact (T24) platform
- Proficient in reading and interpreting InfoBasic, TAFJ componentised code, and OFS processing
- Hands-on L3 code development experience
- Familiarity with T24’s programming components, including templates, version APIs, enquiry APIs, and core API hooks
- Strong grasp of the T24 data model, with experience in Oracle storage
- In-depth knowledge of key functional modules such as:
-> Securities lifecycle (from portfolio configuration to trade settlement)
-> Fees and charges
-> Corporate actions
-> Security master and position configuration
-> Delivery workflows and SWIFT/MX integrations
-> AA, accounting, MM and MD modules

Desirable Experience
- TAFJ code library management
- Integration Framework, IRIS, and JBoss configurations
- Understanding of channel interfaces (BROWSER, IB, DFE, Data Warehouse)
- Experience with Core Java
