My client a global leader in IT services and business solutions is looking to hire a skilled GCP Solution Architect to support their clients some of the biggest brand across the UK. As GCP Solution Architect you will be responsible for designing, implementing and optimising cloud solutions for clients, utilising your expertise in Google cloud technologies to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient cloud architectures.
Key responsibilities:
• Develop data service architecture vision and roadmap and build Data Strategy in Google Cloud Platform.
• Work alongside Product Owners and Business stakeholders to execute on long-term roadmap whilst following agile processes.
• Define cloud architecture standards, best practices, and solution patterns for analytical use cases.
• Provide technical expertise in areas such as data management and cloud platforms.
• Aid Technical team with custom proof of concept content, estimating workload sizing, and custom architectures.
• As a technical leader, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance and support to strategic customers who are seeking to implement data projects, cloud migration, and model deployment.
• Help ensure that these projects are completed successfully, meeting all of the customer's requirements and delivering optimal results.
Key Skills:
• Strong experience as a Solution Architect working with GCP
• Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills effectively working with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience of working with structured architecture approaches (e.g. TOGAF).
• Proven experience delivering successful Cloud transformation / migration projects using to Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience in defining modern data platforms in GCP.
• Experience architecting enterprise-level solutions using GCP, across a wide range of Google Data Products and Integration services (Big Query, Dataflow, DataProc, Looker, Cloud Data Fusion, Data plex, Airflow, Redis, Datastore, Appengine and Pub/Sub).
• Good understanding and hands on experience in Java and Python.
• DevOps experience - Jenkins, Terraform and CI/CD
• In depth knowledge on GCP Services and implementation experience on GCP Architecture patterns for various analytical use cases.
