Solution Architect – Enterprise AI Platform (Insurance) | Netherlands | EU Based
Overview
We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to lead the Blueprint and implementation of a new enterprise-grade AI platform for a major insurance organization in the Netherlands.This is a lead architecture role from day one of the programme, working directly with business and technical stakeholders to design and shape a scalable AI/ML platform in a regulated enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the architecture definition during Blueprint phase and continue through implementation• Act as the primary architectural authority across business and technical stakeholders
• Translate business objectives into enterprise AI platform architecture
• Design a cloud-native AI/ML platform using Databricks, Azure AI Foundry, or a custom Kubernetes-based AI platform
• Ensure security, governance, compliance, and scalability are built in by design
• Work in a multi-entity programme environment with cross-functional teams
• Provide architectural leadership with minimal supervision
Required Experience
• Senior Solution Architect / Lead Architect / Enterprise Architect background• Strong consulting mindset and stakeholder management experience
• Proven experience delivering enterprise platform implementations
• Experience in financial services or insurance environments
• Strong experience in AI/ML platform architecture in the cloud
Highly Beneficial Experience
• Hands-on exposure to Agentic AI / autonomous AI systems• Understanding of insurance processes, regulation, and governance
• AI security, governance, and regulatory compliance knowledge
• Experience building enterprise-grade AI products/platforms

• Excellent client-facing communication skills
• Comfortable operating in complex enterprise environments
Logistics
• EU based consultants only• Willing to travel to the Netherlands when required
• Business English required
• Engagement from Phase 1 (Blueprint) through Phase 2 (Implementation)
