This organization is an alliance of insurance expertise and technology software and covers the entire value chain of credit insurance and surety with one end to end platform.
About the role:
A newly created, greenfield role responsible for product design, architecture, development, documentation, and quality assurance tasks related to building the next-generation of the platform. This position is crucial for building solutions for this organization’s clients using new architecture and a modernized tech stack. The Software Solution Architect will have the technical depth and experience to engage with Senior Leaders and driving strategy, business, and technical roadmaps.
This is a fully remote role in the US only, with a preference for East Coast candidates due to time zone overlap with the European based colleagues.
Your experience:
• 5+ years of backend application and platform architecture experience
• Experience working with Agile Methodology, preferably SCRUM
• Experience with cloud-native applications, preferably Azure
• Exceptional understanding of technical system design, API design, and database design
• Strong experience documenting and recording architectural decisions
• Strong understanding of microservice design patterns
• Strong understanding of REST web services
• Strong understanding of application and platform security principles
• Experience with single and multi-tenant SAAS Platforms
