We are currently searching for a SOC Manager to manage the technical operations of this company. This is a hybrid role combining both people management and technical responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the technical team while also being hands-on to offer technical expertise.
Your duties will include:
• Developing and managing technical processes, policies and standards
• Leading and mentoring the technical team
• Developing and managing technical projects
• Liaising with other departments to ensure technical needs are met
• Analysing and reporting technical data
• Identifying opportunities to improve technical operations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Proven experience in a similar technical management role
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
• Knowledge of the Electric Utility industry
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• A strong attention to detail
• A degree in a related field
