Shopify Plus/Headless Engineering Manager
Our client, a forward-thinking fashion brand focused on innovating & introducing revolutionary products, is seeking a Shopify Plus Engineering Manager, who has a strong background in both strategic leadership and hands-on coding (in Shopify/Hydrogen), to join their team.
What You'll Do:
Lead and manage a team of developers in creating top-tier web applications utilizing Shopify/Hydrogen.
Establish and enforce best practices in web development, including coding standards, testing, and deployment procedures.
Support and mentor team members in their professional growth.
Actively engage in hands-on coding to support the team and ensure the delivery of high-quality code.
Keep abreast of industry trends and new technologies in e-commerce.
Partner with stakeholders to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and quality-driven project delivery.
Consistently improve development processes to increase efficiency and quality.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and processes.
Who You Are:
Over 5 years of experience in Shopify Plus development, as well as experience(s) with Headless/Hydrogen in Shopify Plus environments.
At least 2-3 years of experience in managing a team of developers.
Deep understanding of headless e-commerce
Experience in Shopify/Hydrogen theme development and customization.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems
Exceptional analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
