Stott and May are pleased to be working with a well-established banking client, who are currently looking for a passionate Senior Project Manger to join a growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with both internal/external customers and negotiate with stakeholders for successful project delivery
- Work across various business units/functions of the business
- Ensuring the successful delivery of finance transformation related projects
- Develop project specifications, agree project plan baseline including scope, key activities, deliverables, resource requirements, milestones, and deadlines
- Build and lead teams
- Engage with key stakeholders to identify project objectives and key products to be delivered
- Conduct progress reviews to give stakeholders confidence that projects will deliver to
- time, budget and agreed standards.
- Manage projects within agreed governance structures and processes, to ensure consistency of approach and efficient use of resources
Skills/Experience:
- Experience of working on multiple of projects at the same time
- Project Management qualification (PRINCE2, Agile, APM)
- Banking/Financial background (essential)
- Transformation Programme delivery – Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Strong knowledge of Finance systems
- Good written and verbal communication skills
