I’m working on a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Data Designer for one of the UK’s leading insurance brand and lead a team of 5. The business is going through a transformation period for digital and analytical capability, you’ll have the opportunity to be part of this transformation and help shape and drive digital solutions that will allow the organisation to achieve their end goal.
The successful candidate will be an vital member of the Data Change delivery team, working closely with the business and other areas of IT. They’ll be helping to create designs that will represent business and data requirements for small & large change relating to the companies data platforms and ensuring solutions are in accordance to the architecture and design principles generating positive business value.
Key skills required:
- Working knowledge MS Azure, Databricks, Power BI and other cloud based technologies.
- The ability to use SQL and Python to interrogate data sets.
- Previous experience as a Data Designer working on low level ETL design and physical data models.
- Experience leading teams/managing people.
